Lincoln is looking good at camp. Held Bell to one TD and to only about one to three yards a play. We scored three times on them.

 

Scrimmages/camp aren't always indicators of the team you'll have and certainly most would still pick Bell over Lincoln. With that being said, however, anyone who thinks Settles won't get the job done in Stanford is crazy. He's been extremely successful everywhere he's been and I expect nothing less at Lincoln. In fact, I wouldn't be too surprised if they made a run at second in the district this season behind Pulaski County.

 

Also, don't forget that Larry French went 3-7 in his first season (if you include the forfeit win over Danville) and didn't go to the playoffs until year three. But when they finally got there, they had a great deal of success, making the second round and then the state semifinals.

Haha that is pretty good. Did you notice which Bell team you were going against? JV including 6 freshman on the field. Lincoln looks better than they did last year but still have a ways to good. Coach Settles does an excellent job and has a very young team for 09.

They only have one this year because they play the zero week. I think that they had a 3 or 4 way at camp maybe SARR or someone else could help us out. I think that they had it Friday night I couldn't go because of work.

I attened the scrimmage and Bell went through them and Bullitt East with ease. Yes, Lincoln scored 3 or 4 times but not once on Bells first bunch. Bell is still holding 2 starters that have slight muscle tears, They played all of them on Friday night.

That is what I thought but wasn't for sure Good Luck to Coach Settles and the Patriots.

Bell seems to have alot of speed, possibly more than last year! :walk::walk:

How many does Boyle get? Lets not get into that. Bell used their 1 scrimage in a 4 team format. They will not scrimage anymore beside an inter-squad scrimage this week. BE seems to be really struggling. They opted out of the remaining scrimage time due to fears of injury is what I was told???

 

For my opinion Lincoln was the 2nd best team in the scrimage followed by Greenup then BE.
