Cards seem to play up to the competition, or down! Robbie Stenzel shows everyone who the best player in the tenth is this year and goes off on Mason for 35! Cards by 12!:ylsuper:

Mason might as well plan a parade for, oh, 2012 cause it may be a long dry spell in Maysville!

:laugh:Well see won't we,Thing is GRC is suppose to win they have been all year the favorites,So if they do then they were suppose to,But if they don't then doubts will begin to run in Winchester with the 10th coming back to Maysville the last 2 years of these Sophomores career.:p:p

I thought Mason Co was rated better than Clark Co. Check your ratings. Yea ,Mason Co will have that home court advantage again, just like old times.:taz:

GRC has been the favorites all year and they SHOULD win the region

Have they been the favorites all season?

I agree they were the favorites heading into this year. Then Travis Pervis is out for the year. Then one injury, another injury, and then Corey Rogers out for the year but then returned for postseason play. Were they the favorties when Rogers was still out? I doubt it. They have gone through as much adversity as a high school team can go through, and they are still right there with a chance to win the region.

Do they have the better talent? I think so, when completely healthy. But Mason is no slouch either. If they are going to win the region in the next three years, this is their chance.

Mason Co has been playing pretty well together recently so I'd say the odds are 50-50 tomorrow night. Whoever wants it more will end up with the W. :thumb:

Im just not 100% sold on this ,Lets just leave it at that.

Should be a great game! Clark can beat Mason and they know that, they are confident. Mason are the defending champs and know how to win. Could be a memorable game.

Mason has been impressive in the regional and Clark has looked sluggish! Will it be a game of will and tempo?

It should be a great game, I think Mason is rolling right now, but if it is close and it comes down to being fired up at the end of the game, it will go to GRC. For the 2nd regional game in a row you couldn't find 2 Mason students sitting next to each other in the entire place. Funny  The Fieldhouse is always packed when Mason plays at home and everyone has to travel to their place. Take them out of their home gym and no students show up? defending champs? maybe the kids are tired of winning? The other 3 teams had fans that traveled well tonight.:idunno:

Mason fans were scattered everywhere. Not really in just one section.Montgomery had by far the smallest crowd.Your right the students haven't showed up all year for Mason even at the Fieldhouse.:idunno:I think there tired of winning but just gotten a little spoiled as we all have over the last 10years.You can bet IF they go to state though people will line up for those tickets that you haven't seen since last years state tourney,This is what drives me crazy.

MHighfield, I admire the Mason sports fans that show up for the games. Lots of them! Just no students.

GRC by far had the best student section tonight and o yeah they also had the farthest to travel think that student support has dropped? Not in Winchester!!!! GRC by 7!

Mason by 10.

Now you know that you have read the Cats' Pause yearbook, where Jonathan Fraysure has Mason Co ranked #1 in the 10th pre-seson. According to the latest BGP ranking Mason is #13 and GRC #14.

I agree with the post below...give us a healthy GRC team and it would be different.

I don't even say it is 50-50...depends on the status of Zollo. If he does play he won't be 100%.

I know our kids will give it all they have...they have all year with all the adversity they have faced. They will leave in on the court and either prepare for the State tourney coming up or look back on the season knowing they played with pride and class and gave it their all. :thumb:

If it's not close, then Mason will prevail. Mason has had two cakewalks so they should have fresher legs. GRC is beat up but you can bet they will play very well. I'll take Mason by 7.

Mason Co. 63-58.
