Huge win for a very young Cardinal team. Great job. :thumb:

Huge win for the Lady Cardinals. Congrats!

Was this the finals.

Semi Finals - Scott Co will play the winner of LCA and Franklin Co Sat 8pm in the finals

This is a fairly big upset.

Hardly. Lex Cath was okay this season but struggled throughout the season. THey did put on a strong performance in district but this team was a bit down though still a great showing after losing some good senior leadership last year. I know Scott Co. also had a similar season of ups and downs, but I'd say this game was a toss up. Scott Co. has been playing well of late and seems to have gel'd as a young team. Congrats on the win.

Also, congrats to Maggie Wilson on a good career with the Lady Knights.

I'm going to have to disagree. LexCath had a lot more quality wins.

Congrats to the Cards!!!:dancingpa

The newest Helton is bringing the cards some luck.:thumb:

Montgomery Co? Assumption? Those were only two good ones I saw. Pretty evenly, records about the same, etc. Overall a good matchup.

I'd say Lex Cath was slightly favored if we had to put a spread, but these two were pretty evenly matched. The Lady Knight's name does make them dangerous whenever they play, but as a certain State team has proven, name only gets you so far.

I'll add Lincoln Co., Clay Co. and Dunbar in there as well. Scott Co. didn't really have any marquee wins until tonight. They may not have had a year up to their normal standards, but LexCath is still LexCath. Stop trying to downplay it as no big deal just because you're a LexCath fan.

Most definitely an upset win for Scott County. Maybe not of biblical proportions, but an upset. A couple of regular-season results:

Scott County 66 Dunbar 73

LexCath 61 Dunbar 58

Scott County 49 Lincoln County 64

LexCath 52 Lincoln County 50

It's hard to get a bead on LexCath, as they play so many games out of state and so few in the 11th (which I understand is out of their control); so overall records are tough to use as a barometer.

Huge win for Scott Co. Congrats to Coach Helton and the Lady Cards.

Good game by all participants, but terribly officiated.
