Scott County 69 Lexington Catholic 60

I'll add Lincoln Co., Clay Co. and Dunbar in there as well. Scott Co. didn't really have any marquee wins until tonight. They may not have had a year up to their normal standards, but LexCath is still LexCath. Stop trying to downplay it as no big deal just because you're a LexCath fan.

Ha, trust me, i'm not downplaying it because I was a Lex Cath grad. (I know no one besides the Wilson family from Lex Cath and only saw them play once this year in a game against LCA where I was there to see Anna Martin play.) I just didn't see it as a huge upset. Scott Co. definately improved as the season went on and getting a player back from injury probably helped some. Lex Cath has one good player in Maggie Wilson and then a so so supporting cast. The Dunbar victory came in the district. And trust me, Lex Cath played over their heads in the district.

I'd say one thing that might make this a bit larger for Scott Co. is that they had five straight years of season ending losses to the Lady Knights that they had to fight against. So this is huge for them. Congrats Lady Cardinals.
