March 5, 200917 yr Being reported per ESPN. Finding a link right now. All I can say is wow, and from a Cowboys fan.........NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
March 5, 200917 yr I'm mixed on it. I think it really hurts them BAD talent wise. On the flip side I get tired of guys that are a sideshow. This is a huge loss talent wise but glad to see them cleaning up the losers. I saw where Torry Holt asked to be let go from the Rams just now too. Interesting.... he is a class guy. CJ could get interesting too!

March 5, 200917 yr I just don't understand how these top of the line players walk. Can you not trade these guys and get a pick? Am I missing something? Money I know but people will pay it. This will be interesting to see if it effects where Crabtree could go.
March 5, 200917 yr TO is certainly not the problem in Dallas. Of course he gets the blame though because he is TO and he has a past. Just because he is not a leader in the locker room and no one else is does not mean that he is the problem. I would understand it if the Boys' had another WR opposite Roy Williams with some special ability, but my faith in Crayton, Hurd, and the rest just isn't that high. If the TO factor cannot turn the above mentioned guys into solid threats, I doubt Williams will be able to do so and certainly not by himself. I was really anticipating having Williams opposite TO with a whole off season under his belt to learn the system, and with Witten controling the middle. Now we have a deep threat guy, and thats about it. Say what you want but TO was a multi-purpose reciever and a guy who didn't care to go across the middle. Williams is more of just a vertical guy and in order for him to truely be successful he needs another big time target opposite him IMO, and he just lost that.

March 5, 200917 yr Please stay away from Denver, there is enough uneasy feeling there now for me to deal with.
March 5, 200917 yr I'm with you that he is a complete WR that will go over the middle. I don't know that he isn't part of the problem. He is a sideshow and I think the teams winning championships have shown lately that sideshow me players don't get it done. NY go rid of their and won...Pitt's=team....Pats = ulitmate team...Colts=team... no sideshows on those teams. This hurts on the surface because he is a stud but in the long run with a young QB I think it is good for the franchise to lose guys like him + Pac no matter the talent. They have 3 STUD RB's, one of the best 2 TE's in the game, a good #2 I just don't know why they didn't try to trade him for a draft pick. How much would the folks in Tex love them if they got Crabtree!!!!!!!! This is the best draft for WR's in a long time I think.
