These are the 8 teams I expected to see at BOK. As of right now, here's my rankings of the 8 teams:

The draw is always interesting but I do not think it will change my opinion about the ranking of teams. I choose not to rank the Rebs 1st. Would rather keep looking for another upset. Good luck to all of the young men. Should be an exciting tourney with the newness of BOK.

Basically, yes.

 

A district winner is matched up with a district runner-up. And no two teams from the same district are to be in the same bracket.

 

So Holmes wouldn't play Beechwood until the regional finals. And so on...

Much different from last years field, this year is very strong with no cupcakes in the first round. Holmes has to be hoping to draw Dixie or St. Henry.

I would agree, I would say that most teams would want to draw the 34th, but he careful what you wish for! Anything can happen in the tournament. I would obviously give Holmes and Boone County the advantage, but they could easily draw on the same side of the bracket.

So lets say the favorites win the district. We'll have:

Should be a great tournament.

Very good point, but the regional winner would come from the upper bracket.

The "2009 Holmes Invitational Tourney" @ BOK should be very competitive. That is, if Holmes decides to not be motivated. All the other teams are very capable of pulling the upset if they decide to 'coast".
