BTW, you could have showed up at 5:30 and still probably got in. I doubt very seriously the game was sold out and both teams' student sections were very disappointing.

 

For it being a home game for HC, I would have thought they would have had a much bigger crowd.

Conaiderring the size of the school i thought the size was pretty strong.

There were A LOT of open seats on the HC side. From talking to someone who was at the game last night, he said Beechwood and Covcath both had bigger student sections than HC did tonight.

 

Holmes had a lot of parents and "older" fans there but the student following was somewhat disappointing.

If in fact that's the reason Pittman didn't start, I 100% disagree with that move.

Disappointing to hear Arnold got yet another T. Also good to see D. Johnson get the points tonight. We know the Johnson brothers and Pittman can do it, now we know D. Johnson can lead too.

 

I did not notice HC pushing and shoving too much when they played CovCath but honestly wasn't looking too hard. I did know last night the refs let Beechwood get away with a lot as far as Romes and Beautell lowering their shoulders and AJ Smith [though he got called for pushing at one point] pushing, so maybe these refs just like to let it get physical. Sounds like Holmes handled that well anyways..

Beechwood's student section was not big at all, so if HC's was even smaller on their home court that would be pretty sad..

I agree. I haven't seen many coaches not start a kid that will probably be 1st team all state for defensive purposes.

Plus if the plan is to press and trap, why sit the one guy that can erase a brake out if the trap is beat...
