March 3, 200917 yr I really enjoyed The Caribbean Resort. Great place for kids. :thumb: Great place to stay. It is in Myrtle Beach but it is on the North end and not to far from North Mrytle if you wanted to go to Barefoot landing. Plus it's only a few blocks from Hooters. :jump:

March 4, 200917 yr Barefoot Landing is a shopping/restaurant/entertainment center. It surrounds a pond/lake and has walkways scattered throughout the complex to walk from one side of the lake to the other. There are several cute specialty shops but the biggest draw for us are the restaurants. Some surround the center (free standing) and others are incorporated into the center. March 4, 200917 yr Go see the fireworks at Broadway at the Beach. I think they are every Tuesday night. It's really good. Try Thorny's for a great steak and Sticky Fingers for BBQ. There's a good hamburger place in Barefoot Landing but I can't think of the name right now.
March 7, 200917 yr Anyone ever stay at Sandy Beach Resort in main Myrtle? Its located right beside the Family Kingdom water park and amusement park.

May 25, 200917 yr Anyone ever stay at Ocean Reef Resort in N. Myrtle Beach? We have it booked for the 3rd week of June. They were all filling up as we were checking so we jumped on this one. We were trying to get Caravelle Resort and then Camelot at the Sea. Fingers crossed. lol
June 1, 200917 yr We ended up with a house in the Cherry Grove area.Thanks for all your input. NOW, my son and a few others want to go deep sea fishing.Any suggestions ?? Try to get one of the charter boats that carries 8 or less. It costs more but it's a whole lot better than riding with 25-40 people and just dropping a line when the fishfinder locates a group of fish. I don't remember the names of the ones that I've used.
June 3, 200917 yr Heading to MB on Saturday. We are staying at Oceans one resort, we love it there. Can not wait! Probably go on a casino cruise and go watch the Pelicans play.
