This list looks great...no arguments here.

Chelsea Tolliver from 8th Region Simon Kenton is the best player in our area, and Katie Kitchen from 10th Region Campbell County is as gritty a player as I have seen this year and should be mentioned in the top ten in our area but for the 9th region only here is my opinion:

 

1. Lauren Tibbs- Scott HS

2. Allison Long- Conner HS

3. Jennifer Bivens- Newport HS

4. Jenna Crittendon- Ryle HS

5. Courtney Sandfoss- NCC

6. Jacy Bradley- Boone Co. HS

7. Casey Jackson- Notre Dame Acadamy

8. Katie Allen- Highlands HS

9. Sydney Moss- Ryle HS (I know she is no longer on the team )

10.Abby Jump-Ryle HS

 

Obviously you have not seen St. Henry play this year. Sophomore Abby Janszen is the real deal, averaging 14 points and 9 rebounds per game. Don't see how you cannot include her in the top 10.

Janszen is an outstanding soccer player as well!

Nice list of great players, however I would think that the 2 D I signee's should be at the top of the list (Bradley & Jackson). :thumb:

I would be shocked to see Courtney even play softball this year. This is the year to play high level exposure basketball during the spring and summer, in front of tons of college coaches and that would conflict with softball.

 

I agree though that she is a really great fastpitch player.

 

That would be a shame if she doesn't play because she might be a better college prospect for softball than basketball, where her lack of height doesn't hurt her.

One of the best. There are alot of multi-sport athletes in NKY. I would put Janszen up there with the best, but how would you determine that?? Soccer / basketball / voleyball / softball / track / tennis / swimming / etc. Alot of athletes!!!

Agreed 100 percent there are a lot of multisport athletes.

I agree with Allison long close to the top of that list, she has been a dominant player in the 9th for four years.
