Would that be because the AP has Corbin in the top 10?

That is because Lexington Catholic plays one of the toughest schedules in the state.

And LexCath played at Mason County ... remember how Elliott got manhandled in Maysville last season?

A lot of the wins have, though.

Westsider--your reverse arguments are fine except the one about how tough it is to play at Mason. Yes it is tough at Mason and I do remember the game EC had there last year (can one forget??) I also remember Mason having a guy named Miller and a 6'7" shooter named Trevor Setty that are not there this year and we are talking about this year's rankings. If the point is that Mason is a tough place to play then I agree, but last year's game doesn't have anything to do with this year's analysis of the top teams. The schedule of most of the 7th and 11th region teams is by nature of where they reside always tougher. Should we play Ballard and Mason one more time to validate our wins??

Elliott played Mason much tougher at Rupp last year, as I recall. That seems to support my argument.

Elliott has beaten three top-20 teams ... and they are rated ahead of those teams. They are behind the in-state team that beat them, which tells me they are ranked about where they should be.

Nice windmill dunk by Pittman, He definately plays above the square. I here everybody in the country wants him. Are his grades in order so he can take advantage of the opportunities coming his way?

Probably for a different thread, but he should find a nice home after HS. :thumb:

Will he go juco like Rice?

BTWm where is Rice and the other one now? Is Henderson playing for Cincy State this year? How is he doing? I noticed that McGraw isn't listed on Transy's roster.

Rice and Hill are both playing at Juco's and getting D1 looks for next year. Rice was a preseason all american and Hill, I believe, is leading his team in scoring right now. Yes, Henderson is at Cincy St, and doing very well.

Just a little preview of what fans can expect to see from Holmes at Rupp...

Scroll down and hit play on the video...

There have been teams a lot better than Holmes that haven't made it out of their district tournaments in Kentucky. I wouldn't reserve my rooms just yet. Just a word to the wise.

We'll see...only time will tell.

keep talking that smack ETA and I guess we will see in about month.

Dunks must add to how a team plays? I saw Ballard throw down 50 to 60 in warmups at Elliott County and we know the outcome of that game.

Did anyone mention teams dunking in warm ups? Did anyone say it adds to how a team plays? NO!
