CC Purple lost to Two Rivers by about 30. CC Gold was losing by 20+ when I left at half-time.

So far the seeding has held up as the higher ones have advanced. The first game tonight could change all that IMO. If Felts and Jehn can handle the pressure that the Bulldogs are going to bring and they pack in the zone to make them outside jump shooters, the Wilcats have a shot. In the 2nd game I don't see Summit having too much trouble, but they have to limit Barth's inside touches and keep him off the offensive glass. You never know though! Anyone else have any thoughts?

Dadof3 heard that some the Summit players were chanting to the Twenhofel players to pack their bags when losing by a few towards the end of the game and booing our players when they missed their FT. I am hoping this not true. Have you heard anything? Some of these kids will be playing together next year and am hoping that they would be there to support their future teammates not make fun of them.

I hope that is not true... I know some can be outspoken and maybe just messing with their friends from Twenhofel as they often do. Summit just needs to come out and play tonight as a team and shouldn't have any trouble? PLAY AS TEAM! & SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY TROUBLE?

Were you there? The Summit View kids that I know that where there, had parents sitting there with them.

But they did mention that there were Beechwood kids sitting down there too.

Well, all I can say is the boys that were on the floor playing, did not take it as a joke. Since they are future teammates, they were sort of hoping for their support. I know the Twenhofel boys would support them.

I haven't heard anything, but I can try to find out. I hope they weren't involved either. Not showing much class, but could have all been in jest if that is the case. I know my son is hoping to play them in the final...to be the best, you have to beat the best and Twenhofel still holds the trophy!

If it was the wrong kids I apologize. But my son told me it was them and was able to name names. I was not there just going off what I heard. I am just hoping that these boys will be able to put all the middle school stuff aside and become a team next year. No Twenhofel and No Summit View players, just SK players. Here is looking forward to next year.

I agree, but you have to be 110% sure or here it yourself before you start throwing SVM under the bus... now if you are wrong, other schools will bad mouth SVM...this is what creates bad reputations...

Please don't get me wrong I am not throwing anyone under the bus. Just wondering if it was true. But you have to remember there is a big rivalry between Twenhofel and SV. I knowsome of the boys and know they are good kids so I am not saying anything bad about them. Just wondering what the situation was.

I agree, I have just seen parents from each side run with stuff like this and it fuels the rivalry even more. Rivalry is nice, but they need to instill in their kids and realize to win in the future at SK they will all have to play as a team..

Hopefully everyone is supporting everyone, most of them on Summit and Twenh. have played aau or blacktop or other leagues together... Everyone, as far as I know likes one another... Don't forget, some will be at Scott or even Dixie from Summit? Should make the Kenton Classic even more interesting...

Woodland did beat Holmes in the season,but this is the tournament, anything can happen. Woodland does need to limit their turnovers IMO they throw it away too much. It should be a good game.

Summit should'nt have any problems tonight. They play very aggressive and hard on defense. They flat out get after the ball! They will be tough to beat.
