Can anyone give any insight on Ramon Harris' playing time and what BCG must see in him to keep him on the floor so much.

Same question most people ask every game. He has a good player in Galloway, who can finish, but never plays him in favor of Harris. Hence the reason so many people are frustrated with Gillispie, including myself.

I dont know, but I would rather have Galloway or Miller in there over Harris. I think both of them have better offensive and defensive games than Harris.

I personally would rather have Galloway in over Harris as well but I guess BCG has his reasons whatever they may be. Maybe Harris works harder in practice, I don't know. BCG has said that his handing out of playing time goes largely on how the players work in practice. There is always things that only the coaches see and know that the fans are not aware of, (practice, attitude, grades, classes etc.).

I agree with all that is said above, but I don't think Ramon should be bashed for his game today. He finished with 7pts 9 rebs 5 ast. Solid game in my opinion.

He had a good game today, I just think Miller and Galloway (miller especially to me) is more equipped to be an SEC 3 guard.

I agree, especially Miller. But to me it doesn't matter who starts, it's who plays the most and who plays when the game is on the line. I can handle Harris starting, but think Darius should be playing more mins. and Galloway should be playing at least equal mins. as Harris.

I can't figure BCG out...His substitution patterns are perplexing to say the least..:idunno::idunno:

I refuse to watch or listen to a UK game the rest of the way until Gillispie starts playing Galloway. Again today, Galloway came in and made things happen right away.

 

The fact that he plays Harris so much is just another reason I question whether or not Coach G. really knows what he's doing.

I'd take half of Galloway over 100% of Harris or Miller.

 

He came in today and made things happen immediately. He was a difference maker in the UF game. He needs to play and I'm getting tired of Coach G. not playing him. We gave him a scholarship for a reason.
