I think this boxscore shows why Henley doesn't full court press like some Holmes fan think he should.

Honestly I was not that all impressed with Holmes tonight. I know this game does not mean much, but I have seen NCC lose to better teams. Boone being one, and Shelby Valley Being the other. If Holmes doesn't pick it up, they may not make it out of NKU. I thought Holmes would win it all, but I am definately having 2nd thoughts.

Correct. Holmes doesn't have the depth to press the whole game which is why Henley usually saves it for the second half.

Defensively they can probably go 9 deep...offensively they only go 7 deep though with Riley, Johnson Brothers, Pittman, DJ, Housely, and Arnold.

My point is, the first 7 are really good but after that, there's a considerable drop off in 8-9.

I know I don't always agree with you but you are right about this. They really only have that first 6 or 7 depending on how guys are playing. You lose a lot of offense, decision-making, maturity, and other things when you go past that.
