February 13, 200917 yr If he does sign with the Mariners then I wish him well. I was never a big fan of his in Cincy because of all the injuries and lack of production but I hope he ends his career well. Seattle will be thrilled to have him back.

I think his name may be stronger since he was not involved in any steroid use. There is a new generation of kids who never saw him play in Seattle. You throw in the fact their dads will be able to rev them up about what they once saw, he will put people back in the seats. Merchandise will also go up. The Reds were giving him what 12 million a year relying on him briging people to the house, 5 million a year is a bargain.
