I have to agree with leatherneck the shamrocks and tigers will game plan against Simpson with 8 or 9 defenders in the box and a couple of backers key. He needs somebody else to step up. You can't be one dimensional against either team but it is quite pleasant for an alumni that suffered through 3-30 record playing for SK in 80's to see how far the Neers have come. I played for Fitzer and Red Dog when the talent was slim and you were jeered in the hallways after the game. I think what is happening is very exciting and only wish them well. It is now why I am involved with Fort Thomas Jr Football and will have two boys eventually going through the organization. I married a bluebird and I have to tell you it is a great community and I have never been treated as an outsider and I am big bluebird fan. I still like to see where the pioneers have come, because I was a part of some one sided games and long bus rides. Good luck!

Let me ask this....they were runner's up in 2008....to improve, do they have to win the title in 2009? Does that seem like a reality with X and Trinity being on opposite sides of the bracket this season?

I honestly believe yes. Or at east be competitive against the big 2, which to me would mean having a winnable game in the 4th quarter.

I'd say they could improve there regular season record which wasn't exactly stellar. I ran into one of the Coaches today at the store and he was talking about the schedule, should be a big year for SK with some tough games on there schedule.

 

If SK can make it all the way to the championship game again next season then they can still improve in that game as well.

I could've sworn that someone had said a good while back that the regions were supposed to rotate somehow. So that X and T wouldn't continue to knock each other out so early. Perhaps that was just a suggestion, I could be wrong.

Well we played in the semi's last year.....I think they'd play in the finals this season, if oth are lucky enough to make it.
