Boone County @ Ryle game at 6:00pm tonight

Boone Co./Ryle boys basketball game will be played at 6:00 tonight. It will be followed by the Boone Co./Ryle girls varsity game.

Why have they been playing the girls game after the boys this year in DH? It was the same with the HC/Holmes game.

Is this a makeup/rescheduled game? Ryle played Highlands last night, right? Highlands and Boone back to back is a tough row for anyone.

Game was supposed to be Tuesday, but snow canceled it. The girls were already scheduled for Thursday night. The coaches agreed to do double header and cancel the JV games. Boys naturally will take the 6pm slot since it was the girls originally scheduled game. Title IX is part of it, but common sense dictates this as well.

Conner 1-4

Cooper 0-5

 

If Ryle wins it creates a first place tie between them and Boone since both would only have one loss, and then depending on whether or not Boone beats Conner on the 12th, would determine whether or not a tiebreaker formula would be used to determine the #1 seed.
