3wishes Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 He is a solid pickup, glad to see EKU scholarship some of the MTN players now with a new coach. He will produce in a few seasons.
katbird Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I thought the kid looked very good when he played the Birds two years ago in the playoffs. Good luck Charlie...:thumb:
footballhd Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 He is a solid pickup, glad to see EKU scholarship some of the MTN players now with a new coach. He will produce in a few seasons. So did he get a full-ride or just a preffered walk-on or whatever they call it? Not discounting anything from the kid, its awesome to go play at that level, but just wondering.
HazzBeen Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 He got a combination athletic/academic scholarship. He was very satisfied with the deal as were his parents
PureFan Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 He got a combination athletic/academic scholarship. He was very satisfied with the deal as were his parents I am sure they were! Congratulations!
MountainThunder Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 GREAT pickup for the Colonels. Glad to see my Alma Mater get a quality kid from Kentucky! :thumb:
leatherneck Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Great news Hazz Been. I know you felt he could play at the next level and that he was a great kid. Congrats Charlie. I'm another Highlands fan that was impressed with you when Highlands played LCC a couple of years ago, particularly in light of the fact you had a bad hamstring in that game. Good luck at EKU.
