Rob Harmon was not on the 05 team.

You can't discount the other 5 positions in the order.

I didn't say he was on the '05 team I was saying he was a dominant pitcher. I didn't say discount I said small problems rather than big.

Nice try. :eyeonyou:

Ha what a buzz kill

I didn't say he was on the '05 team I was saying he was a dominant pitcher. I didn't say discount I said small problems rather than big.

Nice try. :eyeonyou:

So I say the 05 team was better and you tell me "IF" this year's team had Harmon they would be better?

So I say the 05 team was better and you tell me "IF" this year's team had Harmon they would be better?

I stated if they had another dominant pitcher LIKE Harmon they would be the better than 05". I didn't say if they had Harmon LIKE the 05 team they would be better. It was saying if they had someone like this not necessarily the 05 team.

I believe or hope that CCH5432 was meaning that Luke was the Number 1 Catching prospect in Kentucky. From what I read earlier in the year he was around the 250 best prospect in the PGcrosschecker.com poll..

All I said is that Louisville had him ranked as their top catcher. I guess technically that could mean that he was the top one they are recruiting, but I've always took is at the top catcher in their class (in his opinion)

Is the new "Olympic Center" going to be ready for Baseball workouts next week? Saw lights on this am when I drove by.

Is the new "Olympic Center" going to be ready for Baseball workouts next week? Saw lights on this am when I drove by.

Do you mean the new fieldhouse? I'd guess it will still be a while.

I would have to disagree. I doubt Maile is the number 1 CATCHER for his class. Hitting wise he would without a doubt in the running for 1 I would think. But catching, no. Possibly in the state, but nationally...

Regardless of all this, and whether or not they indeed do take state [Will have to get past region first!], this is a special group of boys. How many teams have 2 D1 caliber kids, possibly three with Darner, on their team this year?

Who is the 2nd D1 prospect?

Do you mean the new fieldhouse? I'd guess it will still be a while.

My understanding is that it won't be completely finished until after graduation but hitting will be done sooner than a month. :thumb:

Who is the 2nd D1 prospect?

Isler

Until this team proves otherwise, the 2005 team was the best since the championship team. No D1 players but lots of depth 1 through 9.

I'll take the '04 team over the '05 team, despite the Ludlow debacle.

And I'll go ahead and settle the Rob Harmon discussion. You can add him to any team and I'll make that team the favorite. Simply put, he was unhittable in HS.

I'll take the '04 team over the '05 team, despite the Ludlow debacle.

.

You can't .

You can't .

Why not?

2004 team goes 27-6. Top 10 team in the state, lost to decent Ludlow team in a huge upset. Went into districts with 27-5 record.

2005 team finishes 31-8. They were 25-6 going into districts and went 6-2 in the postseason (with both losses to eventual state champ LCA).
