No! Not necessarily. They had 2 last season(Cary Lyle and Terry Smith) and 1 the year before(Mike Goins), but there have been seasons they didn't have any.

I'd probably go with Lenox, T. Smith, and Lyle.

No, but they should. One year they didn't even get to send even one, they where told it was their year to sit out.

Bart lenox, Terry Smith, Eric Thornsbury and Jack Whitemore. Can i have a four man crew?

Give me Bo Queen, Cary Lyle, and John Chamberlain for me also, especially Bo, I think he is the best ref in the state.

 

I will take that crew on any game. Throw in Mondo and Bart Lenox too with any of these three. They could do the state tourney by themselves and do a better job than what has been sent there in the past.:ylsuper:

Yes Mondo is definately one of the showier officials, BUT, He handles the coaches and players as good as there has ever been. It will be a shame when he retires again.:ylsuper:

I would take Mondo, Lenox, and Lyle. Straight down the line and you wouldn't see anyone get out of line in that game, players or coaches.

Eric Thornsbury, Gary Wilson, Bart Lenox were always my top 3 when I was rating officials.

 

Got to also throw some love out to Kevin Letcher and Brian Wallingford.

 

For the comment on going outside of the BBA, why would you go and get referees that are worse than what you have. BBA is the best officials organization in the state.

The BBA is fortunate to have a number of high quality officials.

The biggest thing that bothers me about some of the 10th and 11th region officials is I believe they are really wanting to be noticed and even put on a show sometimes rather than just reffing the game.

 

But hey I am not a big fan of refs in general. :lol:

With any region you have some good and not so good. But as a whole I believe that the 10th and 11th is fortunate to have the officials it has.

I'd totally agree. And I think the coaches would agree too. That is why it has been since 1993 since the BBA has left for the regional tournament.:notworthy:

 

These Guys really are from top to bottom some of the best the state has to offer. Ask some of the other region coaches why they like to come into the 10th and the 11th to play:thumb:
