For those who said they question Pittman's ability to put the ball on the floor, see the above video. At 6'7 he handles the ball very well for being so big.

 

Rico's move on the baseline around the 40 second mark where he takes it through the legs twice, drives the baseline, and then splits the defenders for the deuce was sick.

Who ever said that Pittman was slow and weak? I have not seen anyone at all say it on here. The only thing that Pittman does a little slow is he does have a somewhat slow release on his jumpshot. Everythig else he does fast.

BTW, the majority of those people making those comments either have never seen him play, or haven't seen him since last year during the state tournament.

 

You'd be surprised what 3 inches and 25 lbs of solid muscle over a summer will do for you.

I hope that wasn't interpreted as slow and weak. Bottom line is he will get stronger, which means he has a huge upside. That could be scary!!!! You compare him to say a Dakota Euton, I think it's safe to say he is very close to his full physical maturity. Dakota sports a full beard, which I think is a pretty good indicator he is near physical maturity.

EDIT: I just read where Elliott has scheduled Ballard for Saturday, I am very impressed, either way we will get a good idea of how they will fare in the State Tourney.

Dale, you and the rest of the Elliott County fans think that people are out to get you. That's not the case with me, I like Holmes and have for a few years now. I just don't like that your fans say things like: They get held accountable for their weak opponents.

 

Well they should, you are a preseason top 3 team in the state, surely to goodness you can schedule better than the likes of Anderson County and the Beach ball classic. Play some lexington teams, play some louisville teams. Don't tell me they won't schedule you either, I'm sure they've heard your fans speaking and would like to silence them as much as some people on here wish to silence you with using fact, logic and smart observations when shooting down some of the foolish statements some EC fans make.

 

If you want respect, SCHEDULE the top teams in the state and earn it!

I wasn't referring to you. :thumb: I was more referring to the majority of the nky fans who say before every game that other teams' big man should be able to push Pittman around down low becaue he is tall and thin. Then they see him in person and realize he isn't the same skinny kid that he was last year. Pittman will no doubt get another inch or two and probably 15 more pounds before he's finished growing. I'd say by this time next year he'll likely be in the 6'8-6'9 range and around 230. Currently he's 6'7 210.
