Dixie travels to Holmes Tuesday night.

 

Holmes comes in to the game 20-1, off an overtime win over Scott, and on a 19 game win streak.

 

Dixie comes in to the game 9-9, but winners of 8 of their last 11.

Holmes by 17.

Dixie has been playing well of late, but I think Holmes will be too much. Dixie could pull off a huge upset though.

Holmes by 15.

Dixie has no players of the caliber of Holmes has and this could get real ugly.

I think this one might turn ugly for the Colonels. I expect EP and Rico to both have big games with Riley knocking down a few treys. He had a coming out party against them last year in the regional tourney.

Holmes wins big. I see them scoring at least 80 to a Dixie 50 or less. Dixie doesn't have a way to keep Pittman away from the basket, and their guards will not hold down those of Holmes either. Good luck to Dixie, but the odds are definitely against them

I don't think Dixie is athletic enough to run with Holmes which I believe is Dixie's style of play? But I think Dixie could keep it close if they slow it down as I think they can score against Holmes. With that said I'll take Holmes by 11 63-52.

Dixie will score on Holmes, but they don't have anyone to do it on a consistent basis. Holmes will win this game with no problem.

Dixie will struggle to score against Holmes athleticism and size. Unless they catch fire from outside, I don't see them scoring more than 42 points. Holmes will have their way with Dixie on the boards which will lead to a lot of second and third chance points. I'd be very surprised to see Dixie keep it within 11 points.

Holmes won't score 80 against Dixie. Henley has too much class to let Holmes beat Dixie that bad. Holmes also doesn't run an uptempo enough offense to score 80 in a game. If they left the starters in the full game, I could see it, but Henley wouldn't allow that.
