It wouldn't be considered alright, it would be right:rolleyes:. Holmes is the best team in the state according to their wins over ranked KY opponents and until they are beat, there really should be no argument about them being the best team in the state.:thumb:

Good to see Highlands make this list. Holmes has beat 5 teams on that list. Also beat a very good Franklin Co. who IMO should make any top 25 list in the state. Tates Creek should not be in the top 25.

 

I would really like to know what the main factors in this poll are. Tates Creek at 9-7 makes it in over Franklin County? They have played a tougher schedule at this point but with 7 in state losses vs. only 1 I don't see how they get the nod.

 

I agree. Franklin Co is definetly a top 25 team, if not top 20. When I saw Tates Creek at #25, I kinda scratched my head. Just goes to show how incorrect these "computer" polls are. Tates Creek got beat by Holmes by 29 points. You can't tell me there's a 29 point spread between the "#3 team" and the "#25 team."

I don't think anyone has ever said a poll is correct, just because Holmes is #1. Everyone says the poll is correct because Holmes is indeed the best team in the state, RIGHT NOW.

 

Holmes resume speaks for itself as to why they should be ranked #1.

 

According to this poll:

 

Holmes- 5 wins over top 25 teams (2 over top 6, including the #2 team, avenged only loss)

Scott Co- 6 wins over top 25 teams (only in state loss to a team ranked behind them)

Elliott Co- 0 wins over top 25 teams

I'd say the BGP and the AP poll which is consisted of writers from all over the state are the two most accurate polls.

Well then I would be showing the same tendencies he has shown toward's Elliott all season long wouldn't I! If you can't take it don't dish it out!! Secondly I would think that if Eta was offended by me he would reply in his own defense and there is no need for you to do it for him!!! Thirdly I am about 50% in agreement of Holmes being #1 with Scott Co their challenger for that spot!!!!!!!!!!
