I'd say the BGP and the AP poll which is consisted of writers from all over the state are the two most accurate polls.

 

As of today, whats your top 10 look like. I would go #1 Holmes, #2 SC, #3 EC, #4 Eastern, #5 J-town, #6 Ballard, #7 BS, #8 MC, #9 SV, #10 Corbin.

Top 10 is too tough to get a good gauge on because after the first 6 or 7 teams it's really a crap shoot. I'd probably go with this though:

 

1. Holmes

2. Scott Co

3. Eastern

4. J'town

5. Elliott Co

6. Bryan Station

7. Ballard

 

Honestly though, I think 3 through 7 could beat eachother on any given night. Scott Co and Holmes are in a class by themselves right now IMO.

SC has been playing lights out since the out of state tourney they was in. I still see SC as the favorite in the sweet 16. I just think Holmes deserves the number #1 ranking based on the body of work. With that said Holmes can pull it out because they matchup so well with SC. I sure hope they all get to Rupp.

Holmes will go in as the favorite most likely as long as they get to Rupp. They should get there with only one loss and if they avoid SC until the semi's or finals, I really see them taking it all. They just seem to be playing on another level right now. I do think it will be a much closer game though than the first one. Key for Holmes is how much Arnold continues to progress.

There are teams in the 11th capable of beating Scott Co. in my opinion. I'm sure many will disagree with me, but I'm just gonna say I've seen some crazy things happen come tourney time in the 11th.

I am about to stop looking at Cantrell's poll lol. If you can honestly, consistantly tell me Scott Co is better than Holmes after the Dawgs dominated them on a nuetral court I do not think I can take the poll seriously lol....

Franklin County is a top 25 team in the state, it's that simple.

 

I agree 100% they only have 1 loss in the state and that was to the best team (Holmes). Hope they put up a good showing the 27th against Scott Co.

Highlands barely beat Dixie and Franklin County beat them by 13 without a starter and 6th man.

Why does everyone get so wrapped up in his RATINGS. Do you guys really think that Cantrell has watched North Hardin, Shelby Valley or someone like Corbin???

Corbin deserves the No. 6 spot. I'm glad everyone is talking about Holmes, Elliott, Scott Co. and everyone else and not Corbin. Holmes in my opinion is the best team in the state, but At the present time, the Redhounds can play with anyone in the top five.
