Lloyd catcher Corey Moore signed to play baseball with Brescia,in Owensboro. Corey plays for the Bluegrass Chiefs in the summer. Corey is the first player to play college baseball out of Lloyd since Scott Scudder and Scott Partin in 2004. Congratulations!

I had the pleasure of watching this kid play several times this past summer and he's the real deal. He has a great arm strength, good speed and an exceptional bat. The Chiefs (who are part of the Blurgrass baseball club-Summer team) have a very good team returning, adding him will only make them better. Congrats to this fine young man. I'm looking forward to watching his scholastic season as well as the Summer. :thumb:

One of the most deserving young men I have had the pleasure of seeing play. He has worked extrraordinarily hard to become a fantastic receiver and overall player. He is a fine leader and a fine student as well. I send my hardy congratulations to Corey and to his wonderful family as well.
