I like to look at who else is recruiting a kid, I think that tells a lot. Who knows who will be better. However Finch was down to BC and UK, Russell was down to Southern Miss and UK. Personally, I doubt Finch decided to not come to UK because of the Russell. I think Finch had a better oppurtunity at BC. Just like Russell chose the better school (UK) over USM.

The article said he CHOSE UK over USM. The interesting thing about Finch is that he had a lot of offers from prestigious academic universities: Northwestern, Vandy, Stanford, etc. He must a very bright kid. Also, Rivals has Russell ranked 49th, and Finch ranked 57. For whatever that's worth....:lol:
January 23, 200917 yr Losing out on Finch seems more significant because UK was on him for so long and he is a bigtime recruit in state. Both players are probably pretty similarly situated talent wise. I'm just glad to be getting another tailback.
