We will see a lot of movement between spots 2 and 10 over the next month. Outside of Elliott, who is clearly the best, the rest of the region is very balanced.

I suppose you are referring to the class A matchups. Elliott obviously will win by a large margin. The loser of the Rose Hill/Bath game won't drop much in any poll I wouldn't think.

 

I believe as of today Don's poll is pretty much spot on.

Pretty good poll. I agree that 2 thru 10 will always be a work in progress. But If your looking at how teams are playing right now, it looks pretty good.

And they may not get out of their district. If they face West in the district, could spell disaster for East.

King, I would agree with your assessment through 1/18/09, but it will start to reveal the cream of the crop starting tonight. We will find out if anyone will have anything for Elliott County come the first of March.

 

And for your district draw scenario, Spindoc. That would be disasterous for East Carter. I wasn't even thinking about them playing West in a first round district game, but it is very possible.

Very good point, the districts are highly uneven this season! But I still think Coach Baker and the Raiders are a very scary team come postseason, as is Morgan Co. in that district.
