We're not going to have a quarterback this season, we are going to have two half backs, and put all three quarterbacks together and have one three-quarters back. That will solve the problem, if we can get the KHSAA to agree to let us play with 13 offensive players.

I would second that.

Rister is a very polished passer. He has great form and has worked very hard with a QB coach (Andy Hall) I believe. If no politics play a part in this decision then I believe without a doubt Rister is the starting QB in Ramland this season.

 

Farley is also polished, 8-1 a JV leader, directed a playoff victory; Reed was trained by Pat (WVu) White, like the man said a very good problem to have. Plus you don't worry about politics in Raceland.

There could even be a dark horse that is not on this list that has been talked about quarterback. It just depeneds on who comes out and plays this coming year. Will this up and coming season be more of the run or will it be passing or closer to 50/50.

If you referring to McKee, yes he could be in the mix. He hasn't shown interest in the past. He is one of the most talented kids on the team and could have a stand out year, no matter the position.

I could see McKee playing QB, but I think if we have another option that he would be much more needed at the WR position. He has very good speed and good hands. Personally, I'd rather have his experience at WR, if we have someone that is good enough to get him the ball. Plus, we are going to need McKee in the return game, and I don't think you would want you QB returning punts/kicks. But, I think McKee will have to be a big part of the Rams of this year. I look for him to step up and be a big player.

I wish he would the past couple of years but he did not want to and I think what he wants to be wr/kr/pr but who knows.I have been asked why he was not qb in the past and I told them the reasons why. He(McKee) does have the arm to make any throw there is and I was not talking about McKee it was someone else.

5 good RB's for two starting positions.

4 good QB's for one starting position.

7 good linemen for 5 starting positions.

 

Sounds like the "Elusive Depth" in it's natural habitat.
