How many out-of-region games does your school play?

Featured Replies

I was just curious about scheduling for different schools. Shelby Valley for the season (not counting the All A or State) will have 8 in-state out-of-region games and 5 out-of-state games, for a total of 13 non-region games...

Holmes plays 16 non region games:

Bryan Station, Scott Co, Knox Central, Ballard, Tates Creek, Bryan Station, Seneca, Oldham Co, Henderson Co, Franklin Co, Harrison Co, Largo (MD), Scott, Hazard, Campbell Co, Simon Kenton

GRC has 18 out of region: 14 of those games are on the road..eek.gif

North Laurel

Ryle

Madison Central

Scott Co

Doss

Hopkins Co Central

Hazard

Trinity

Lexington Catholic ( Twice)

Shelby Co

LCA

Connor

Ashland

Clay Co

Lafayette

Franklin Co

Ballard.

We only have 7 in region games.

Wow. That's a lot.

Wow. That's a lot.

Actually you can add 2 more on the road too. We are in the Kenton Co tourney this week. We are guaranteed 3 games. We play Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Not sure who we will play Thursday or Saturday...so instead of 18 it will actually be 20 out of region games.

Elliott County plays 7 teams not in the 16th Region

South Charleston, WV

Cedar Hill, TX

Myrtle Beach, SC

Pickering (Canada)

Southside, SC

Anderson County

Mason County

That's a lot Goldie! It could possibly only be 19 though since Campbell Co is in it as well. Very good chance you guys will see them.

I didn't even know who all was in the tourney...glad you corrected me....Nothing gets pass you does it Eta....

Warren Central plays 16 out of region games against 12 in-region, and of course 6 of those are district games. This has typically been the way they schedule of late, choosing to focus on tougher competition outside of the region.

Not much...

Teams in it:

Simon Kenton, Campbell Co, GRC, Highlands, Scott, Dixie, Lafayette, and Conner

Thanks...could face Scott again too, they are also 10th region.

South Oldham plays 15 out-of-region KY schools and one out-of-state school for a total of 16. Included: Danville, South Laurel, Shelby Valley, Muhlenberg North, Bullitt East, St. X, Jeffersontown, and Henry Clay.

I don't have my Oldham County or North Oldham schedules in front of me, but both play comparable numbers of out-of-region opponents.

Mason County has 15 out of region teams,With 11 of those on the road.

Southwestern plays(ed) 9 out-of-region games, Louisville Eastern, Lafayette, Shelby County, Western Hills, Central Hardin, North Bullitt, Metcalfe County, Russell County, and Lynn Camp.
