Yes that shot from Jolly was in and out! Good look and a good shot. The Camels came out slow again and shot poorly in the first half but fought back against a good Scott team.

 

Nerl played a great game scoring 21 going 3/6 FG; 2/3 3Pt and 9/10 from the line. Jolly also had it going scoring 12. Was very impressed with Murray, Camels will have to defend him better in the Districts. Keep playing hard Camels and learn from your losses.

 

I predicted Nerl to have a big game, but the outcome to be the other way...Who did Scott have guard Nerl?

#3 for Scott couldn't be guarded in 2nd half! Fantastic battle back by the Camels, the final shot looked good. It's tough to beat a team 3 times, but I believe the Camles will to battle Scott once again.

I said Murry would have a good game, the kid is top 10 in that region. Scott could end up at Rupp.

From all the posts, you would think Scott was the clear favorite to win the district. This was a close game right? If Scott has a chance, then wouldn't that mean Campbell is in the hunt as well for the region.

Scott continues to roll. They're playing very well right now.

With 30-40 seconds to go in the game, camels were down by 2 and had the ball. As soon as Jolly got a wide open look from the top of the key, they called a offensive foul away from the ball on Smith. I didn't see any foul! IMO in situations like this, they should just let them play, the refs shouldn't decide the game! Right after that, Scott got a and 1 that pretty much sealed the win!

The difference in the game was #3 Smith for Scott in the second half. Murray had a real good first half and Smith took over in the second half. I think he scored 10 points in the second half. Nerl is just a very good player on both ends of the floor.

I wouldn't count out the Stangs ... they played Campbell to 3 points in the MCIT ... Campbell only loses to Scott by 2 ... should make for a good Brossart-Scott matchup ... Brossart could still make it a 3 way tie for the first place seed in this district.

How do they break the ties in the seeding for this district - if it comes down to that?

According to today's newspaper, a three way tie for first would result in blind draw to see who would be the #1 seed.

This was a good high school basketball game. Both teams played well at times. Scott's guard play and 3 point shooting was the difference. The Camels showed great heart and had an opportunity to win on the last second shot. It was a good shot that I have seen Brady make several times before in that situation. There will be another opportunity to face the Eagles.

Most people already thought that Scott seemed to be the #3 team already ahead of Campbell. Last nights game only confirmed that.

I called this one. Good win for Scott but more people should have expected it.
