bigblueinsanity
I really thought the Bench was a big spark in the 1st half after UK got down like 6 or 8 points. In the 2nd Half Liggins played very good D and made a few good passes. Mike Porter made alot of free throws down toward the end of the game. NkuRoyal31
A wins a win, but they have to close out games better than this or they will lose more than expected. Tennessee wont let them off this easy if they continue to let up!
Statmaster
UK better work on zone offense. Why didnt we put a player at the free throw line against the zone?
super
One down, fifteen more to go.Good win by the Cats, but need to put a team away when up by 18 and 20 points. Can't let this happen when going on road. Next stop---Knoxville.Go Big Blue.:dancingpa
STRIKE3
Much better effort, both sides of the ball. Vandy did an excellent job, of double-teaming Patterson. Give Coach G credit, for the half court offensive sets.
bigblueinsanity
Miller 0/4 From the Field 5 Reb though Liggins 0/5 From the Field 6 Reb though If these guys can play good D and rebound their shots will come. I'll take Good D and rebounding when we have PP and Meeks scoring. Harris played very well today. And I still love AJ's energy.
oldrambler
U.K. still is having periods of inconsistent play, today was down the stretch when up by around 20. I thought the players went into a "cruise control" mode. I thought that Meeks, Stevenson and Harris all had pretty good games. Patterson played well for being doubled down on all day. This U.K. team is the best ft shooting team n the SEC I believe and one of the best in the country, ft shooting can and will win or lose (poor shooting) ball games :ylsuper:. 1-0 in conference play, Tennessee up next on Tuesday night. GO BIG BLUE!!!! Edited January 10, 2009 by oldrambler

Agreed, if these guys can play constant D and rebound and do all the other things it will keep them on the court which in return in more shot attempts and they will eventually start falling! We need those two to play major minutes to be a good team that can compete for the SEC title.
