Are they Varsity Players

Meyer and Hamilton are not varsity players, but are dominant at the other levels. These two freshman are defintely players to keep an eye on the upcoming years. Meyer is the younger brother of current Flyer Barrett Meyer.

Corey Gregg @Rose Hill. Averageing double, double in the last five or six games.

I haven't seen this kid play, but averaging a double, double with Rose Hill's schedule doesn't impress me.

DJ Townsend, Somerset is a good one. He starts at Guard for Somerset's varsity and is averaging 11 points per game.

Southwestern has two very good ones in the Epperson twins, Cody and Justin. I don't have their stats.

I saw him play as a 7th grader and he was 6'1 180lbs then and he was schooling kids at will. I have to imagine he has gotten much better in 2 yrs as well.

What about the Terry kid from Rose Hill? Wasnt he like 6'5 as an 8th grader?

Never heard of them. How much do they average? I just live around Franklin so idk much about them.

They play JV as Franklin County is a senior-stocked team this year. However, you will see them a lot next year.

We might as well dust this thread back off since the info is still hot. I've seen the Combs kid play more than once, mentioned in the other thread, and he does play with confidence. He could hit the triple and defend too

Michael Brooks- East Carter

And with East's schedule, Brooks has impressed you? Wow.:idunno:

A double, double is pretty good regardless. To belittle this really ruins your credibility.

Never heard of him. That doesn't mean he isn't a good player but I don't think he is the best freshman at his school.

Terry is top 5 IMO. Jody should get out more.

Deming apparently fell and hit his head. Any list that doesn't include Terry is a joke. Period.

Demling needs to get out more. I would put Gregg or Terry from Rose Hill against several of these boys. I'm sure they are all good players, but this list is not indicitive of the talent in the complete state.

Terry is a very good player, no doubt about it! But the Courier-Journal aint exactly no rag either. It's even possible that his opinion could have a wee bit of merit as well. That's not to say that Terry doesn't belong in the list either.

I agree. I would say the same about Corey Gregg as well.
