9:00pm game in the KY Prep Classic @ Montgomery County on 1/10/09.

I would like to see the 10th region win here,But i just don't see it happening.

Manual has a hugh game tonight at Male then has to travel 2 hours to play a 9:00 pm game against the host school in their gym. I think Montgomery has a real shot at winning. That being said, I think the Crimsons will pull out a close win.

It will be interesting to see what Jenkins does against a very good defender in Brandon Rash.

Montgomery County will come out ready to play after a wake-up call aganist Bath County. I see Manual winning a close one, but am anxious to see the Rash/ Jenkins matchup.

Jenkins is about 75 to 80% back now. If he does anything like he did last year Manual should be fine. Jenkins was lights out shooting last year against Montgomery.

Manual does have Male (@ Male for their Homecoming) and will be focused on a district game against a top 20 team. I'm certain Montgomery County will be ready to go at home and play a much better game against the Crimson.

 

As everyone knows, Jenkins missing almost all of December has Manual catching up on the chemistry and in a way this is a new season. Manual has some talent especially with Samsel at the point and Nikolic in the paint, both whom are improving rapidly. Samsel level of play has really shot up and will continue to do so as what I feel to be the best backcourt around gets back into groove.

Manual should win this pretty easily IMO.

Somebody needs to cue up AC/DC's "Thunderstruck", because Manual's schedule is about to get real.

Montgomery County has to get on track shooting the ball. Maybe this will be the game. If not it could be a long night!

I think it will be closer now having seen how it will be coached. Manual will likely force it inside and become a one demensional team. The talent is not being utilized the way they were during the summer. Chemistry is still an issue.

Good luck with that. I like teams to go inside out, but I would think they make sure Jenkins gets his looks.
