1. Elliott - is there any question

2. West - Clear cut #2 at this point

3. Ashland - Only loss in the region is to Fairview. Solid team.

4. Fairview - Cooksey has two horses and is riding them

5. Menifee - Region's biggest suprise

6. East - Region biggest enigma

7. Bath - Metz is a load

8. Greenup - Fraley has a mix of youngsters and veterans

9. Morgan - Win over Rose Hill is looking impressive

10. Rose Hill - On a recent hot streak

11. Lewis - Will be a factor in a very weak district

12. Rowan - Help is on the way for Thacker

13. Raceland - Must find some help for Boyles

14. Russell - Kidwell has them playing hard

15. Fleming - Would be 16th if not for Boyd

16. Boyd - Because there are only 16 teams.

 

Thoughts?

I don't disagree but where do you put them? They certainly could be in front of Russell and maybe Raceland but I think that is as high as you could go. Do you agree?

 

After looking at everyone's records against in-region competition, I have changed my mind. I would probably move Fleming up one spot and drop Russell one spot.

I would have Fairview 3 East 4 Ashland 5 Menifee 6 everything else the same.IMO

Not a bad list. I would move Fleming up a notch or two and flip-flop East and Menifee.

 

Menifee County and Rose Hill (along with West Carter) have been the pleasant surprises so far.

 

Sad thing for 15 teams is that they are playing for second.

Most likely you are correct. It was interesting to start ranking the teams. Elliott is an obvious 1 and I think West is clearly 2. After that it is very cloudy. You can make a case for Rose Hill being higher based on how they have played of late. East has not been impressive in their vicotries but I think they are still a threat. Ashland really hasn't beaten a top notch opponent but they have played well against the rest of the region.

 

Tough to rank the teams between 3 and 11.
