January 4, 200917 yr Im sure this has been discussed multiple times on here but what would it take. Which sport would you want to see? What would have to be the perfect situation
January 4, 200917 yr I think basketball is probably the only Pro Sports team that would survive in KY...
January 4, 200917 yr ^ I wish they would get an NBA team but I am afraid it would just be another city like Memphis or Minnesota.
January 4, 200917 yr ^ I wish they would get an NBA team but I am afraid it would just be another city like Memphis or Minnesota. Who would you say they would be?? Louisville, Lexington, or NKY( Greater Cincy)?
January 4, 200917 yr When the Royals were in Cincinnati way back in the day they didn't survive because of the low attendance. I think this is one of the biggest reasons why we haven't seen an NBA team in KY. I personally think a team playing in Louisville would draw big crowds though. A lot of people would come out to see the other NBA stars from other teams.
January 4, 200917 yr I don't see any pro sports team truly surviving here in KY, but basketball would have the best chance.
January 4, 200917 yr How much is the avg NBA ticket? Depends on the team. I've been to a Bucks game before when I was in Milwaukee doing some promotional work for them and the tickets that I got for a buddy were only $20 to sit in the upper arena. Lower arena was $37 I believe.
January 4, 200917 yr I wish there was a Pro Football but isn't going to happen. I agree basketball would probably be what would come.

January 4, 200917 yr I wish there was a Pro Football but isn't going to happen. I agree basketball would probably be what would come. Pro football probably wouldn't survive because the population in KY really isn't large enough to support the kind of revenue that's needed to have a team. Would be nice though, so we didn't have to watch the BUNGALS.
January 4, 200917 yr Cavs are 10-65 upper arena. Around 110 lower. Cavs are also a much better team than the Bucks.
January 4, 200917 yr I would love for there to be a pro basketball team in the state, that would be huge. Wasnt L-ville one of the places on the list for when the hornets moved from charolette?
January 4, 200917 yr Cavs are also a much better team than the Bucks. Prices are predicated by how good the team is??
January 4, 200917 yr Prices are predicated by how good the team is?? A few summers ago I worked for a sports marketing firm and had a chance to work with the Nets, Knicks, Timberwolves, and Bucks. I can tell you the answer to that question is yes. In most cases the lower arena seats are almost always going to be identical throughout the league, but upper arena seats can range anywhere from $10-$82 depending on the team. For example: The Bucks upper arena seats were $11-$37. The Nets upper arena seats were $20-$45. The Knicks upper arena seats were $35-$65. The Timberwolves upper arena seats were $18-$72. Keep in mind though this was also about 4 years ago.
