Final From Semi-Finals of Mason County Invitational Tournament

CC: Franzen 14, Albrecht 12, Nerl 11, Jolly 3

BB: Patterson 1, Armstrong 5, Webb 6, Kremer 4, Rieger 19, Wolfer 2

Mustang Brossart played alot better this time around.

Camels will need to figure out their offense, scoring only 40 points tonight against Brossart is not a positive. Tomorrow's game will be an interesting one for me. Good luck Camels.

Your joking right? Brossart is probably one of the best defensive teams in the region.

Campbell needs to use there size and big guys down low more.

Campbell should be one of the best offensive teams in the region, with their weapons.

Even in their two previous encounters when BB could muster only 25 and 27 points respectively, we have held the Camels to 46 and 45, so 40 was not out of the relm of possibility for this one.

Mason's size and athleticism was pretty impressive tonight. It will be a tough game tomorrow either way. This could be game 1 of 2, the next being the 10th region finals!:thumb:

I thought that we showed a lot more maturity tonight than in our previous match-up.

we were the agressors on defense all night, challenged everything they did, and took it to them.

We still had our little scoring droughts (doesen't look right - didn't bring my spell-checker) and Camels still were advantaged by their size, girth, edge.

They had to earn everything they got tonight.

Junior Jacob Rieger is becoming a very worthy adversary, night in and night out. Going one on their bigs all night - Rieger netted 19 points (over half of our overall output) to lead all scorers tonight.

Good luck to Scott Code and his Camels tomorrow in the finals of what is shaping up to be a dandy little homecoming tournament for the Royals.

Good tough defensive battle by both teams tonight--Virtually every shot was challenged. Thought the difference was Campbell did a little better job on the boards, too many 2nd, 3rd or 4th chance baskets; although Reiger battled big time for BB.

Congrats to Campbell on the win, and good luck tomorrow vs. Mason. Mustangs proved that all the talk of the 37th being a two horse race, may be a little premature??

These 2 teams really get after it defensively. I really enjoyed this game.

Sounds like an awesome game to watch. Good Luck Camels in the finals.

Brossart played very tough and hard tonight... Now they know they can take down the Camels in the Districts if they meet again. Jake Rieger proved he's one of the best players in the region, and Mitch Patterson was all over CCHS's guards the entire game preventing the ball from getting to the big men...

Other than a cold streak in the 2nd quarter and a couple bad calls at the end of the game, the Mustangs could have pulled this one out...

Big turn around from the first meeting.

Congrats to CC on the W.
