My sister just called, she slide past her street in Alexandria on Route 9.

We are playing BBall tonight at 8:30 don't know about that anymore.

Took me almost an hour and a half to get home from Dudley and Thomas Moore Parkway to Oakbrook... Roads are a mess. I really wonder why no pre salting was done, as the NWS was calling for freezing rain starting at around 3/4pm tonight. I know the County and Commonwealth are trying to save a buck but gee.......

AA highway is shutdown @ Walton Pike in western Mason Co, because of a wreck. My wife works in Morehead @ Lowes and she left at 4 pm and there were 3 wrecks before you got to the county line. She is still not home, she is stuck 2 miles from the house because of a wreck. Stay home tonight, whatever it is it's not worth it.

I wonder if this will stick around for the morning. I hope not. :irked:

I hope not. We have to head to Louisville for my side of the families Christmas and we are leaving around 1. We won't be back until later on tomorrow night. I worry so much when traveling in nasty weather with the kids.

NKY was out of control. I saw 5 or 6 wrecks alone from Villa Hills to Edgewood.

Later, it took me 15 minutes to get down Horsebranch.

Supposed to get to 44 degrees tonight (so I hear) so it should melt. It is better now than it was before. Still be careful though....

That's terrible. Prayers out to that young lady.

Thanks.

Last word I got on her is that they have the internal bleeding stopped, she has a broken pelvis, leg and back. She is still not speaking but she squeezed her dads hand. All of that info has been relayed through several people so I'm not 100 % sure that it's all true. If so, and I hope it is, those are signs of improvement.

They are now taking her to Lexington.

All thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Thanks.

Oh my! That is awful. I will have her and her family in our prayers. So close to Christmas, hate that it happened.

Weather reports are the temps are going to rise overnight and be rainy, then tomorrow will be windy and warm close to 60 degrees.

A Delta MD-88 just slid off a taxi-way at CVG. No injuries reported.

Yes, my prayers being sent this minute. How horrible. Glad both my boys are home tonite.

My girlfirend said she had a heck of a time trying to get home from work today...said she almost got in three wrecks.
