You have to have 3 or 4 guards that you can put on the floor to match Elliott's guards and East just doesn't have that. That is the reason why they will get beat by 30+. Plus the Lions are smelling blood and still wanting to prove their self's to any non believer's.

This was a one point game last year. Considering East and Morgan score was 47-38, this could be a major clash in playing styles. It is also a district game and a rivalry game. It comes right after a big win over the Number 1 team in West Virginia and right before the trip to the beach. East is a well coached, disciplined team that plays solid defense. This game has DANGER written all over for Elliott County if they don't have thier minds on their business.

I agree with you matlock. I hope that Elliott will have thier mind on the game at hand. I venture to say that they will though since this is a rivalry. Good luck Elliott. My guess is Elliott 88 and East Carter 73. I think they will play them closer than any game they have plays thus far.

I just thought I would go ahead and start this thread since one of Elliott's 16th region competition will being their matchup on Tues.
