Remains Identified - Caylee Anthony

Eye for an eye in this case seemed like a no brainer.

For the mother to act like she did, knowing that the whole time she had done this, sickening. This is as bad as the guy down there (in FL) who raped and buried that little girl alive a few years ago. I hope that there is a special section of Hades set aside for these people.....

Also reminds me of the Marcus Fiesel case.

Still surprised that a state that so strongly supports the death penalty would choose not to seek it in this case. Seriously, assuming her mother is indeed convicted of murdering her daughter, why should taxpayers foot the bill to keep this woman alive for the rest of her life?

A child murder in a womens prison...GOOD LUCK.

One thing that really bothered me about this story is that you can honestly find someone to take a kid. So many people would take the kid or any kid these day. It bugs me everytime I see this case because so many people want kids these days.

Yeah, I've followed along a little bit to know some of the background. But I was unaware that the state had apparently already decided some time back that they would not seek the death penalty in this case and I'm wondering why. A quick perusal of a Google search did not tell me.

I believe they took the death penalty off the table when they charged her with murder, but had not yet found the body. I don't know if they can change that now...but they should!

The mother ? is in isolation. The death penalty can be put back on the table. They issued another warrent to search the grandparents house . What did this monster do?

My belief is the child was bound with duct tape to keep her quiet as it was mentioned that she sometimes had trouble controlling her. What a horrible death, I cant imagine what was going through her mind.

They had Casey Anthony's ex-fiance on the news last night doing an interview. He says that Casey was a very devoted, loving mother and lover. She was totally focused on having a great marriage, being a super mom, and was totally in love with him. Then, almost like flipping a switch in May of 2008, she changed 180 degrees and turned into this party-loving, unfaithful, horrible mother. He said it is bizarre and that it was literally like she woke up one morning and was a different person. He has no explanation for it.

That is such a bizarre thing. I almost can't wait to find out what really happened in this case. There are so many unanswered questions.

I know that Jesus was with this little girl during this awful time, and I like to think that He wrapped his arms of protection around her and made it as painless as possible. That's the only way that I can get past this awful, awful incident.

I'm sure that you are right.

That's the only way I can handle this kind of tragedy, as well.
