I was a Laker fan up until Shaq left, and people started to compare Bryant to MJ. We all saw what Kobe was without Shaq that first year..

I agree as well.:thumb:

I'm just saying, defense don't mean much in the NBA. You can say their D is awful, but look at their record. That proves my point. Who cares how bad an NBA defense is? Their pretty much all awful.

Show how much you know about the NBA really.

Yeah on a horrible team.

Don't be hatin on the Cheese. Someone ain't gonna like it.

Naturally, a basketball team that scores a lot, the other team will score a lot as well because of the tempo. They are not a bad defensive team, but not the best.

The are soft inside, that is what lost them the finals last year.

As for the myth of no defense in the NBA, think about this:

An NBA team giving up 96 points a game is the same as a high school team giving up 64 points (purely in terms of minutes). 64 points in a high school game is very average, as should the NBA giving up 96 points. Also, you have to consider that the people in the NBA are the best in the world at getting a ball into a basket.

I'll give you Pau Gasol is a little soft, and Odom plays more like a SF than a PF, but with the addiction of Bynum, they are much tougher, and bigger in the sense of stronger and beastly. Bynum has made Gasol even better because the defense is focusing on Bynum, and opening things up for Gasol. Bynum and Gasol hardly allow an offensive rebound, or they shouldn't anyway. What I am trying to say is that they are much better inside with the addition of Bynum.

I agree, IMO they probably win the title with Bynum last year.

I'm pretty sure I watch NBA and I'm positive I know what defense is :thumb:

You are wayyy off on this topic.

Throw in a shorter shot clock as well.

Pau Gasol is a lot more than a little soft. But, I definitely agree with you, a healthy Bynum is very good for their D.

Is there such a thing???

Wait until GT looks at this. The team in the finals that plays the best defense wins. It's that simple. The Suns have proven over the last few years that it doesn't matter how much you can score you're not winning the title unless you can get stops.
