December 12, 200817 yr A win over a team like MVSU isn't as good as a win over a Florida, never did I say that. But a loss to a team like MVSU is 100x worse than a loss to Florida. Bad losses are harder to wash away than good wins are. If this team wants to be playing in March, they have to win these games. After lossing to a team like VMI, they can't afford any more stumbles against terrible teams. That makes everyone of these games they're playing right now extremely important to their playing in the tournament. Obviously winning a game in the tournament is a bigger deal than winning a single game in the regular season, but if they don't win those regular season games, especially the ones in November & December against the weak competition, [B]they won't even have that opportunity. [A/B]Are they doing away with the SEC tournament this year? I hadn't heard that one.
December 12, 200817 yr Whoever the coach was before this guy must have kind of sucked all of that out for UK fans. Just the same fans that wanted for fire Brooks barely into his 3rd season.
December 12, 200817 yr Just the same fans that wanted for fire Brooks barely into his 3rd season. Brooks has done something with Kentucky football that no coach before him has. Heck, so did Tubby Smith. He dropped them out of the national spotlight.
