Very lucky. In fact they didnt deserve the win. They only shot 30% in the first half. Tates Creek played all zone and it completly confused the cards.

Doesn't surprise me that Scott County is still finding themselves at this stage of the season.

This is a good win on the road for Scott County, but what happened to that HUMONGOUS gap between SC and the rest of the state.

Going by Lion Mania's theory on losing close games to top ranked opponants, Tates Creek has to be in the top 5 in the state now.

Correct, my point exactly. The last Scott County thread was all about the gap between them and the rest of the state.

Wow. This is not a top 25 team in most everyone's poll and TC may be the

5th best team in Lexington. Those that have SC written in as 2009 State Champs might wish you didn't use the permanent marker. Holmes loses and now SC down by 12 at the half and only winning by a few points. Guess we have a wide open race to March 21st in Rupp after all. Seems there are other teams that want a piece of the pie after all...........

Sounds like the gap between SC and the rest of the state isn't as big as some said after the Duncanville game....

 

Let's not take anything away from Tates Creek though. They are a VERY solid team with Barksdale and Fucci and they played Holmes tough in the preseason as well.

If this is the best team ever assembled in the state of Kentucky, then Tates Creek isn't getting nearly enough credit.
