But none of them as creative as saying that my team would beat another team because they beat a team that plays in the same state as that team the year before. That was a pretty weak argument. Comparing scores is bad enough, comparing scores from different seasons is even worse.

Never said UC would beat Oregon simply because of that game. Only said I think they would have at least as good of a shot at it as Boise based on what I saw this team a year younger do to a very similar opponent...
