Not really a surprise though. I think I picked Conner to win this one by 10. SK is going to struggle this year. They are young outside of Barnes and Lanham.

 

Looks like Sorrell had a big game though with 23 points which is a good sign for the Neers.

Grant Schneider is still playing football and will make a difference. The problem they have is that they are all guards and don't have a low post difference maker.

I agree in that Grant will be a key player on this team, but even with him this team is going to struggle. They will get better as the year goes, but this might be the first time since leaving the 9th that SK doesn't win the district and might not even get out of the district. I haven't seen the other teams yet but it wouldn't be a shock to me if this happened.

SK will need to find a solid third option offensively. Sorrell and Barnes have produced 71% of the points after two games.

If Walton's guards are hitting shots then they can beat SK. I think SK will get to the regional tournament but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't.

I agree with Tiger 1, Grant will bring much needed rebounding when he comes back and his inside game for his height is not bad. They should make it to regionals as a district runner up but that will be as far as they will go. Coack S just does not have the horses with this team.
