Actually, I think it is just two of the four. Ft. Campbell is the defending champ and the favorite over NCC (as well as Trinity over SK). We all know how tough NCC is though, don't we? Beechwood and Highlands are favored to win their games.

 

SK fans, just keep thinking Dixie Heights. If they beat Trinity in 2004 no reason why SK can't do it in 2008. It is a surprise to most that Trinity is in the title game so keep believing.

 

It's a shame the way the games line up on the schedule. I would be nice if there were back to back games to make it easier for N. Ky. fans to support each other's teams in person.

It was a good year in the mountains. A lot of good teams. Bell losing would be a big upset. Breathitt and Hazard are on the other side of that and it would be an upset if either of them won. I think N. Ky. comes out of Papa Johns with more titles than the mountains.

How many of those teams will actually win thought? Idk if they are in 3A or 4A but if they are in the others look for the NKY teams to win. Congrats to all 4 teams from up here. Its great to have more teams heading to the finals than the power house Louisville. haha. Well good luck Birds, Tigers, Breds, and Pioneers as we go for a clean sweep for the titles. We can all have a big ole NKY party after you all bring home the hardware. Come on Pioneers wanting you to win especially cause your a fellow Kenton County School. Now if NCC and SK would just put Highlands on their schedule that would be nice.

 

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I have heard that SK is going to play Highlands in the near future. I believe it would be the 2011 class. Because of SK's Freshman class of 2008 beating Highlands twice. If this is true, that WOULD BE a game to attend.

FYI, Beechwood and Highlands are in Kentucky and play for the Kentucky Championship. The schools from Cincinnati play in the Ohio Championship. Maybe that's part of the reason that our kids get hardly any recognition for 'All State' awards and stuff. Everyone considers us Cincinnati. Drives me crazy! We are still Kentucky, our boys can't help where they live.
