Steelers 33 New England 10

Featured Replies

Silverback had 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles. He's the defensive MVP IMO. Troy with another pick. Had Ben not donated one to NE inside their red zone, they may have ended up with only 3 today.

And seems that, knock on wood, the Steelers are now finally starting to get healthy. Deshea Townsend back, McFadden next week and possibly Kiesel. Should improve the D, while those that have filled the gap got some serious game speed in the interim. Hope the Steelers are at full speed next week against Romo and TO and crew.

The DB was flagged for the play and the ref said I quote "hitting a defensless receiver"

I know...I watched the game. Which brings me to another question...if Welker had had the ball, and the DB hit him exactly the same....wouldn't Welker still have been defenseless?

The DB was flagged for unsportsman like conduct and the ref said I quote "hitting a defensless receiver"

If you would quit drinking the Haterade you might not be to bad.

Exactly. If that pass isn't tipped, there's no flag.

The Pittsburgh DB made up his mind when he saw the kill shot that he was going to take it ball or no ball.

You didn't answer the question...

I'm not sure how you know that, but it still doesn't answer my last question.

Continue to play dirty football, the rest of the league knows it. So far only Ray Lewis has had a chance to have a say in it.

It wasn't helmet to helmet. In the event he gets fined, which I doubt, I doubt it's that steep. Funny how most Steeler threads devolve to this discussion. Sad when fans of the local team have nothing better to discuss.

I played Linebacker, you know during the course of the play when your scanning the field and have an open shot.

They have played 11 other teams what happen in those games?

Ray Lewis hit Mendenhall straight up and hurt is shoulder.

The Steelers have played the same way for years.

You still have yet to answer her question....

I didn't see the play but here is my take on your question. Once he knows he not going to get the ball im sure you body/mind isn't thinking about getting laid out like you would be if you were getting ready to catch a pass. You would be ready for that and bracing yourself.

That hit was nasty and he should be fined for it.

Anyways the Steelers played very good and could very well be the best team in the AFC.
