November 30, 200817 yr Burress hires attorney, to meet with cops http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3735040 Giants general manager Jerry Reese said Sunday that he had yet to speak to Burress. "I reached out to him," Reese said. "I did not get a return phone call." The team is considering placing Burress on the non-football injury reserved list, which would make him ineligible for the remainder of the season, sources said. It also would allow the Giants to recover some money already paid to Burress. Additionally, a source told Mortensen that Burress has as much as $4.5 million tied to play-time incentives and active-roster status.
November 30, 200817 yr I made a few changes Scarheel. I hope you don't mind. Don't mind a bit......Nice.
November 30, 200817 yr And btw, we have minimum and maximum sentences for first time offenses too, for a purpose. So people with your line of thinking can't lock away everyone that makes a mistake for the rest of their lives. My line of thinking. That's funny. Get out in the real law enforcement world one day, son, and you'll see the types of problems that people like The Thug cause.
November 30, 200817 yr Put Plaxs head on the body. I'm sure if we looked hard enough, we could just find a pic of Plaxico holding a gun
November 30, 200817 yr Author My line of thinking. That's funny. Get out in the real law enforcement world one day, son, and you'll see the types of problems that people like The Thug cause. I'm not your son. And I guess I'm not allowed to have an opinion since I'm not in "real law enforcement". Even if I do ever work in "real law enforcement" one day, that doesn't mean I'll want to kick every gun totin' player out of the NFL. Plax messed up...he'll pay the price. Whether that price is a hefty fine, a suspension from the NFL, a release from the Giants, jail time...he'll pay the price if he is convicted of a crime, I guarantee that. And even if he is released and is no longer a Giant, I still don't think he should be banned from the NFL after this one thing.
November 30, 200817 yr Author Minimum 3 years and max 5 I think I read somewhere. If he gets convicted he is in trouble.
November 30, 200817 yr I'm going out tonight to the club for some dancing, drinking and getting friendly with the ladies. So in preparation for tonight, I'm getting my gun all clean and shiny. What moron takes a gun to a nightclub? Although this would kill my beloved Bengals, there should be a pre-draft IQ test given to all potential NFL players. Something other than the Wonderlic.

Something other than the Wonderlic. I just read that Pierce could be in trouble too...not sure yet though. He said he will cooperate with police Apparently Plaxico is going to surrender to police soon. Plaxico has also apparently hired P.Diddy's former lawyer Ben Brafman? Also heard that Strahan said that the Giants will not give up on Plax. He is part of the "Giants family" and that even if he is released, they will do whatever they can to help him. He may need as much help as possible...
November 30, 200817 yr If he gets convicted he is in trouble. I don't see how he can't be convicted...
November 30, 200817 yr Author I don't see how he can't be convicted... I've read they haven't found the gun yet...not sure though. I'd say the odds are he will face some jail time, but I wouldn't be surprised if he got away with it. P.Diddy did ...

November 30, 200817 yr Author Why would they hide the gun if he weren't guilty? P. Diddy is a much bigger name than Plax though... I'm not sure if that is true or not...I just read it on another site. And I don't think it matters how big your name is...it matters how much money you are willing to spend and how good your lawyer is...
November 30, 200817 yr Plax is a tool. Always has been. I don't think anyone should be suprised by anything this idiot pulls. Love to see how long he'd last on the corner..
