November 27, 200817 yr It is going to take a physical team to beat UNC in my opinion. Not very many teams have four first round draft picks in their starting lineup...some may have a few very good players and athletes, but very few. Teams are going to have to knock them off their cuts, be strong with their post players, and not get caught in the up and down game. In addition, they will have to make them work on defense. I would not classify UNC a great defense, they like to get you going and trap early, but will break down over the duration of the shot clock. ND loves to run and shoot but they are Winne the Pooh soft. :laugh: What teams out there that are physical?
November 27, 200817 yr I think you mean Lawson... Indeed I do. Quite the UNC fan, am I. I guess I was just thinking about how dangerous this team will be once he comes back. BTW, will they move Danny Green back to bench? I think he is like Manu, just does better when he does not start.
November 27, 200817 yr Carolina is amazing. I believe the 05 championship team was better overall, but this Carolina squad is deep..
November 28, 200817 yr The only work horse they have is Harangody.. I wish he would have been full health last night. Mcalarney is crazy, but UNC is too good. ND gets a head start on Big East competition in this tourny getting to play Texas and UNC.
