November 27, 200817 yr UNC could have won by more than this if they wanted to do so. I think they win by more than 25 if not for McAlarney having a S. Curry type of night. This team will have off nights, but their improving defense and their post play will make them tough to beat.

UNC is very impressive. It is going to take a physical team to beat UNC in my opinion. Not very many teams have four first round draft picks in their starting lineup...some may have a few very good players and athletes, but very few. Teams are going to have to knock them off their cuts, be strong with their post players, and not get caught in the up and down game. In addition, they will have to make them work on defense. I would not classify UNC a great defense, they like to get you going and trap early, but will break down over the duration of the shot clock. ND loves to run and shoot but they are Winne the Pooh soft.
