He was NFL sack leader heading into week 13 but I'm not sure what his sack totals are now..

One person that is not on the list, that I have seen mentioned on here is Jamal Williams. I don't think he would get much consideration.

Kris Jenkins is 3rd in the league IMO. Warner/Brees 1-2 then Jenkins. Farve brought the swagger but he is the difference maker. He's almost impossible to run on right now.

Hayensworth would be #2 for me probably.

With 70 tackles, 12 sacks (2nd in the league), 4 forced fumbles, (2nd in the league), and a INT on the best defense in the NFL. I think he is the front runner at this point.

For me, I am more impressed with what Jenkins and Haynesworth are doing that any linebackers. Why? The linebackers wouldn't have a chance to make the plays if their DL weren't taking up blockers. However, Jenkins and Haynesworth consistantly take on 2 300 pound OL and still make plays. I would vote for one of them. My first instict was Haynesworth, because his team has a better record...

He is a good corner, but I don't think he is having a MVP type of year. Joey has 14 sacks and should be in the running.
