November 23, 200817 yr We got Chasis at the Jessamine County shelter on a day when I had no plans on even getting a cat. We were there for other reasons and were walking through an area where cats were kept in cages. Apparently I got too close to one of the cages and a cat reached through its cage with both paws and began attacking my arm. When I turned around to look at it, it hissed at me and I fell in love with it immediately. It has turned out to be one of the best cats I've owned with a cool attiTUDE to go with it.

When most cats are hungry they meow. Chasis bites my leg as I walk through the kitchen when she is hungry and I am not kidding one bit.

November 23, 200817 yr Just tell people it gives the house character:thumb::lol: I actually just put a chair in front of it, and I don't have to make any explanations at all. That pic was taken right after we moved in, and I had the chair in another spot after originally having it there. Lucky was so upset that I moved his chair that he wouldn't move from that spot. So, I put the chair back, and now he spends a good amount of the day lying on the back of it, looking out the window, or under it, just chillin' till I get home.
